These powerful creatures are agile and quite mobile, quickly slithering on the ground yet nimble while climbing walls and ceilings. They are strong combatants with tooth and claw but also pack quite the arcane punch. Depending on the subspecies they will blast enemies with almost any given element lightning, fire, ice, acid, to name a few.
 
They harbor a deep hatred for dragons and dragonkin, going to great lengths to make sure their dens are protected from dragons. They will fight off any encroaching dragons with great fervor, only when completely outmatched will they back down and move their den far far away. Their dens can grow to be massive.
