These creatures are known pack animals hunting small grounded game. They move in synchronized patterns, many theorize they are hive minded. They will often distract larger predators by sacrificing one so the elders in the pack may survive.
Due to micro crystals embedded in their chitin, light based attacks are either deflected or in cases of elder Barlnoch reflected at the aggressor. Some crafty folk have even found a way to fashion this chitin into armor or weapons.
